About the event
A Unique Shakespeare Retreat exploring three of Shakespeare's late plays: The Tempest, The Winter's Tale, and Cymbeline.
Arrive on Sunday 20th July and stay full board in one of our spacious ensuite rooms through to check-out on the morning of Wednesday 23rd July. During your stay you will have the opportunity to observe or participate in:
guided readings of The Tempest and The Winter's Tale with group discussion
workshops exploring Shakespeare's language and verse
a candlelit presentation on the effects of candlelight on the Late Plays
a showing and discussion of at least one film or TV adaptation of one play
