About the event
A Unique Shakespeare Retreat exploring Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
Arrive on Sunday 20th July for our evening welcome dinner, or on the morning of Monday 21st July for our initial play reading, and stay in one of our spacious ensuite rooms through to check-out on Wednesday 23rd July. During your stay you will have the opportunity to observe or participate in:
guided readings of two late plays followed by group discussions
workshops exploring Shakespeare's language and verse
creative response sessions (in which you have a chance to respond to Shakespeare's play in writing, visual art or drama - or explore the local landscape)
a candlelit presentation on the effects of candlelight on the late plays
